MISSION STATMENT
To make St. Jude Church a vital, praying intercessory parish where all of its members are comfortable praying with and for each other in compassion.PURPOSE
The purpose of this Ministry is to reach out in community in a variety of venues to offer both intercessory group prayers and individual prayer for all those in need.GOALS
To promote opportunities for physical, spiritual and emotional healing
To encourage forgiveness and reconciliation
To promote a deeper prayer life
To promote a communal prayer life
To increase compassion and mercy both received and given
To be instruments of God’s love and peace
SERVICES THE PRAYER LAY MINISTRY OFFERS
We are present after every Friday morning mass to pray with you for your special intentions. We also lead in the praying of a decade of the rosary.As teams we visit homebound parishioners to pray, recite the rosary and read the Bible. Please contact the parish rectory if you or someone you know would like to arrange for visits.
Each month we sponsor meetings on different faith topics, as well as special days of reflection.
