WHAT IS A PARISH NURSE PROGRAM?
Purpose:
To provide health-related services and resources such as health screenings, educational seminars, health literature and support to the members of the Parish. The Parish Nurse provides wellness and prevention programs to promote a healthier lifestyle.
The Parish Nurse may also serve as:
Health Educator - provide literature on health related matters.
Health Promotor - to encourage health and wellness within the congregation.
