This ministry of Saint Jude Parish was established several years ago, to reach out in a special way to the retired priests in the Diocese of Bridgeport.

Through this ministry you will gain a realization of what priests have contributed to the Diocese of Bridgeport and of what happens to a priest after he retires. Your children can join in by the making of cards.

The goal of each family would be to:

Send a Christmas, Easter, and Anniversary card, or at other times throughout the year.

Say a daily prayer at dinner time.

Pray each week as an intention at Mass.

Send a family picture (If you choose).

These efforts on behalf of a retired priest will permit him to have some contact with families and let him know that there are people in the diocese thinking and praying for him.
